The 6 YO on life in Miami

I am in the kitchen. My 3 lovelies and I are whipping up breakfast this morning when the 8 YO asks, " What are we doing in school today Mommy?"
To which I reply, "History, Dictation, Math and then we are starting Latin"
The 6 YO looks at me with her gorgeous brown eyes and says "I already know Latin...Hola, Como Esta"
The 11 YO rolls his eyes and says "Not THAT latin, she means the old stuff they spoke before there was a Miami"

*sigh* This may be a bigger challenge than I thought.
